AMERICANA…ONE OF SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA’S PREMIER GUITARISTS AND VOCALISTS… David Landon is regarded as one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier guitarists and vocalists who has performed nationally and internationally at festivals, concerts and clubs. Throughout his career David has performed with many notable artists including 80’s pop star, Tiffany, TV and Broadway star Mario Cantone as well as multi-platinum artist Lenny Williams. In the studio David has had the pleasure to work with Taj Mahal, Kenny Neal and Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. After two decades of performing in international blues clubs and festivals, Mr Landon has come back to his first love of acoustic guitar and classic acoustic music in the singer songwriter style, playing his original acoustic Americana music either as a solo artist or with his band. Mojo Messengers plays classic rock hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s by their favorite artists, including the Pretenders, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha, Santana, Credence Clearwater, and Van Morrison, plus some original tunes from time to time. Satchmo's Ghost is a swinging and bluesy band. Inspired by the “ghost” of Louis Armstrong and his passion for swing and blues, this 6-piece band often takes on a "big band" sound. The band’s set list includes songs that have a punch to them and are easy to dance to. Yet, they clearly have an affinity for tasty, soulful blues tunes.
