If you haven't been to Riggers Loft, highly recommend checking out on a weekend exploration of Richmond. Tucked away in the Port of Richmond shipyards, this family-owned space is filled with love ~ there's music on select dates/times, a wine bar/tasting room, cider from Far West, delicious food, and epic views of the Bay. Chef Frank Miller is awesome ~ we chatted with him for a while about food, the space, and Richmond. Such a cool and talented person who whipped up an amazing wood-fired pizza and Brussels sprouts. A huge fan of Far West cider, there's nothing better than getting a tasting sampler and sitting outside by the water on a weather appropriate afternoon taking in the sips and ships! There's a little something for everyone here - when we came, there were a lot of families and larger groups celebrating life's milestones. Whether you're a wine or cider person, or just want to explore Richmond in a different way, Riggers Loft should have a spot on the list! T There is plenty of parking, and also views of the historic SS Red Oak Victory Ship. If you're planning an event, this space is also known for wedding bookings and more!

One of the best decisions my husband and I made was to have our wedding at Riggers Loft. From start to finish, the owners, Barbara and Kevin, were super friendly and responsive, and really took great care of us. Also, the venue itself is super unique, and we got a ton of compliments on our choice from our guests! You really can't beat the amazing view of the SF skyline, being right on the Bay, in such a cool and historic area. Oh, and the wine and cider selections are simply impeccable! We cannot recommend this venue more highly!

Wonderful, under the radar, spot right on the waterfront! It's a bit of a trek from most parts of the East Bay that aren't near Richmond (and even from Richmond it's a relatively long winding drive through a shipyard) - but that meant it wasn't busy at all when we went at 5pm on a Friday! We made reservations but based on the availability of tables - at least on that evening - we probably didn't need to. We met a friend and our group had two toddlers - they had a lot of fun walking around the outdoor patio, whilst we enjoyed a tasting flight of various Far West Cider Co's ciders. Good comfort food options (pizza, fries, brussel sprouts and the like) and that Friday they had a band playing some exceptional jazz. The patio has wide open views of the Bay and if you have kids who like spotting boats, there was the occasional sailboat and ferry sailing by which kept them entertained! It was a little cool in the evening and there weren't any heat lamps - so bring a sweater! Would highly recommend stopping by - I'll definitely be going back!

A hidden gem in Richmond, CA. You get this glorious view of the bay bridge and the skyline of San Francisco across the bay! The ciders are delicious. And I've heard good things about the wine. Spacious outdoor area and some comfy seating inside as well. I'd always recommend for a good wine down and some drinks with friends!

Beautiful space! My job rented the venue for an event and everything from the ambiance to the food service and hospitality was exactly what should be expected from a good spot. Nestled so deep in an industrial swath of land that you better hope your GPS gets you there accurately (just FYI, all the staff from our event said that their navigation system got them directly to the location), Riggers Loft is an urban winery that departs from the typical scenes of greenery that may be conjured when you hear the word 'winery'. The inside space is a sprawling setup of tables, with lights strung above and dark decor. I can only speak for the space as I experienced it during the event, so I can't exactly attest to what it looks like during open hours, but it was gorgeous, so I'm sure they know how to keep it fresh. The outdoor space is framed by a breathtaking view of the Bay , and the only thing separating you from the water is a large concrete slab that speaks to the industrial theme the environment offers. We had the food catered by the venue's kitchen, and it was pretty good, too. My employer didn't seem especially mindful of vegetarians (I mean, who ever is?) because there were 3 meat sandwich options and just 1 jackfruit sandwich veggie option. (I'm not a jackfruit person, so I wasn't able to go that way.) But everyone raved about the food and that's always a good sign. All in all, a great place to go and I'll definitely be back.

Hidden away in the shipyard of Point Potrero is a winery collective that is home to a few wineries and a cider company. They have Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday and Friday where they offer $2.00 off select wine and cider. They also host a variety of events such as Paint Nite, Live Bands, Trivia Night, Open Mic Night, Oyster Sunday, Fourth of July Fireworks and the Taste of Richmond event. The space is large with different areas of seating from comfy couches to bar stools. They host a lot of private events in this space. They have a nightly catering truck option and it's always really good food. The staff is always nice, I can always count on Frank to provide insight on the wines they have and always good to see a friendly face. One of my favorite features of this place is the location. The 'patio' looks out to the bay with views of the bridges and San Francisco in the background. On a sunny day, the wind is slow and warm - which is extremely relaxing coupled with a glass of wine. I was so impressed with this place, I became a wine club member of R&B cellars and visit often. With my membership, I get a complimentary glass of wine or tasting for two and discounts on bottles. Cheers to that!! Check this place out and you'll feel like you discovered a hidden gem!

This place is one of Richmond's secret hot spots. I doubt it will remain a local secret much longer, word is getting out. The wine selection is great! Paul's food truck is just right! and the staff are all friendly and super knowledgeable. We held an event there and were treated with great care and attention to detail. Our guests were all very pleasantly surprised. This place is quickly becoming our favorite hang out.

Riggers Loft is a great winery located on the Bay. It's a cool spot to spend time introducting friends to new wines and new vibes. The people tending bar are all very knowledgeable about their wines. I went with a friend on a Sunday afternoon after hiking in the local park. It was a perfect way to finish the day - wine, live jazz, cool people and amazing view of the water and clear skies. Definitely a place to kick back and enjoy a slice of life

This place is a hidden gem! The wine is excellent, the owners are nice, and there is a food vendor there that offers quality gourmet pizzas and salads. The venu is a large loft out by the water, hidden near the Red Oak Victory ship, past the Subaru unloading and storage lots. And there is a lot of excellent live music offered as well! (Full disclosure, I'm a musician and have performed there several times!). I highly recommend it!

Beautiful view! I did a cider flight and it was excellent. I'm still thinking about pistachio mortadella pizza that I had. Also, we loved that there was live music indoors but still had plenty of space to talk at a normal level outdoors. I will plan to visit again soon!

I enjoyed the wine, cider and available food truck during my 1st time visiting Riggers Loft. Located in the historic Richmond Shipyards district, I especially enjoyed the panoramic views of San Francisco bay and skyline and the free parking.

Best view of SF from across the bay. This is a hidden gem with great wines and cider. It's a small but tasty menu. Pizzas are fantastic. This funky warehouse location is so worth the hunt. Bonus. Live music indoors during the cold season and outdoors in the warmer months on weekend days.

Visited here with a group of friends visiting Point Richmond for the weekend. We had a stellar time. We enjoyed wine flights and cider flights. We loved the Beignes from the Kitchen. Fries were delish as well! Nice hidden spot!

I'm reviewing Riggers Loft as a wedding venue, as I recently had my wedding here. The venue is spectacular: the views are incredible, the building has the perfect warehouse vibe, and there is an active Osprey nest nearby that adds to the overall allure of the place. Ships, both big and small, float by, reminding you that even though this is part of an old WW2 facility, the nearby port is still very active. My partner and I interacted with Barbara, one of the owners, to plan our wedding. Barbara was always kind, professional, responsive, and totally accommodating of our requests. Thanks to Barbara and Riggers Loft staff, our wedding went even better than we imagined. If you like the feel of this place as a wedding venue, they'll work with you to make your dream wedding become reality. Such an amazing place! Also--our guests loved the wine!

We looked at multiple different venues as we had several constraints and wanted outdoors/indoors space, gorgeous water views, live music, and something that is particular to bay area, like winery, city skyline view and bay. I never really imagined what is my dream wedding setting, but once we visited Riggers Loft, it was love from the first sight! Hands down the best venue on earth! And the hosts of the Riggers Loft Cellars are super accommodating and helpful! We would like to express our gratitude for your creativity, helpfulness and flexibility. From the early planning stages, they proved to be more than just a venue provider – they were our partners in bringing our vision to life. Their innovative ideas significantly enhanced the atmosphere of our celebration, and their willingness to accommodate our needs - be it a live pianist, traditional hindu setting, - was beyond exceptional. It was this blend of creativity and adaptability that made our wedding uniquely ours. Our guests were raving on how gorgeous the venue was and how much they have enjoyed it.

Our wedding with Riggers wine loft was amazing! The team lead by Barbara were attentive and always got back to us in a timely manor. We were able to design both the outside and interior spaces exactly as we hoped. Barbara was extremely flexible with our wedding hiccups and work with our budget. They helped to ensure our wedding day felt very special. We intend to return to the space in the future just for fun!

We loved our wedding at Riggers Loft! The owners, Barbara and Kevin, are lovely people who made us feel welcome and appreciated from day one. Barbara worked closely with our wedding coordinator to pull off our wishes for our big day. They have a FANTASTIC in-house chef / catering team (managed by Chef Frank Miller) that absolutely slayed our wedding food at a better price than we were quoted by other catering companies. I am so glad we chose Riggers Loft!

My husband and I got married this past October at Riggers Loft Wine Company. It was a truly beautiful venue with extremely helpful host and catered food. We couldn't be happier with our decision and plan on coming back to the location just for fun!

You cannot beat this venue--and especially not in the Bay! Let's be honest, your guests have been to a thousand rolling hills/greenery/farmhouse weddings. They want something different! Enter Riggers. A GORGEOUS view of San Francisco right on the water, industrial chic vibes, walls aligned with wine barrels, string lights as far as the eye can see, boats passing by during the ceremony. Like a legitimate foghorn happened during our vows--where else can you get that?? Our guests LOVED it and kept telling us how unique the venue was. Plus fabulous wine and champagne and a great price! We chose the option where the venue stayed open to everyday customers during our wedding (they partition off half the venue for the wedding using wine barrels)--and not only did this not detract, it actually added to the experience! We loved seeing these people we didn't know watch through the windows, and after our crowd cheered at the end of the ceremony, we came inside and that crowd of strangers cheered, too! It was phenomenal, and that setup also allows us to keep our costs low in one of the most expensive areas to have a wedding in the country. To top it all off, the staff is wonderful. Barbara and Kevin were incredibly responsive, and the bartending staff was as nice as they come. We love Riggers. I cannot imagine doing our wedding anywhere else--and you shouldn't either. It will forever be a special place for us. So excited that we can go back as everyday customers and relive the most perfect night over and over.

Riggers Loft is an amazing venue full of incredible views and spectacular people who will work with you every step of the way to make your wedding day everything you want it to be! We had a wonderful experience for our small, daytime wedding of 16 people. We only needed to reserve a portion of the venue for a few hours so Roy Creekmore and his team did what they do best and sectioned off a private area for us. Barbara Brown (VP) also reached out to us to see if we had any preference on the type of music or live band that was scheduled to play that day which made our experience so much more memorable. We highly recommend Riggers Loft for the wine, cider, rustic atmosphere, the staff, and as a venue for any event but especially for your wedding. Roy, Barbara, and the staff simply made it easy for us to enjoy our lovely day. There's not much you need to add to this venue in terms of decoration as the winery is unique and truly remarkable the way that it is. Cheers!

I had my wedding at Riggers Loft in October 2019 and it was an awesome experience! This is a GORGEOUS and unique venue, with a spacious warehouse feel right on the water in Richmond with incredible views of the Bay and SF. My husband and I looked at about 10 venues total and couldn't agree on one until we walked into Riggers Loft - and we both knew it was the right choice for us, especially because it was a better price than many others. Our experience working with the Riggers Loft event staff was also excellent - their event manager, Roy, was easygoing and flexible, and worked with us to create the day we wanted. He was flexible about things like when we dropped things off / picked things up from the venue, helped us pick excellent wine for the event, and managed coordinating with all our vendors so we didn't have to. All in all, we loved Riggers Loft as a venue, and so did our guests - everyone raved about the cool and gorgeous space! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique space in the Bay Area with a flexible and easy-to-work-with staff who will help you create your dream wedding.

Blew away all my expectations!! I cannot recommend Riggers Loft enough for your wedding day. The price was hard to beat, the location is perfection and the staff was incredible. We had an amazing time. They really catered to my every need, went above and beyond, worked super well with my wedding coordinator and vendors, it was all so smooth! Such a unique location! People are still talking about our wedding! This place is a hidden gem :)

R&B Cellars hosted our wedding ,we rented the entire winery. The view of the San Francisco bay was amazing! It was a pleasure to work with Roy Creekmore. He made our day come together when I thought we were going to have issues. Everyone was great to work with. It's a light fun venue!! All of our guests enjoyed the wedding -the winery is a rustic vibe!! We had fun! I would highly recommend R&B Cellars for weddings & parties!!

Roy Creekmore, and his crew, are among the hardest working event staff and coordinators, I've ever met. Truly selfless, and adaptable, they made our wedding experience at Riggers Loft Wine Company a truly memorable and momentous occasion - not to mention, they offer the most stunning view of the bay from their outside patio. I strongly recommend this location for any event, especially weddings, as the atmosphere generates it's own lasting experience, alone. Caterers have their own, out of the way, area to operate and the immensity of the event space, rivals that of the pavilion, across the canal. Great cider, great wine, terrific staff - this is the place for your party. Not enough? Well, the WWII Red Oak Victory boat, right next door, is probably one of the best places for wedding photos, that I've ever seen. Our photos came out amazing, as you would expect from such a visual goldmine. All in all, Riggers Loft will not disappoint. Roy, is very accommodating and extremely pleasant to speak with, and his staff truly keep the party running smooth. Worth every penny. (Ask about the osprey). -John and Nicole

It was such a privilege working with event coordinator Roy Creekmore at Riggers Loft. Roy was professional, knowledgeable and always so calm during the planning of our daughter's wedding. He along with our wedding planner (Silicon +Sea), helped us create a magical experience at this beautiful winery overlooking San Francisco Bay. Truly this place is a hidden gem!

Riggers was a perfect location for our October wedding! The scenery was beautiful, and the staff were all very helpful. We had two bartenders who were friendly and fun. Barbara, one of the owners, was especially helpful when we had some major last minute issues with the venue setup, but she was able to work with us to make it perfect. Our guests had a great time! I highly recommend this venue for an event!
